While waiting for the food to be ready, we took turns to do a self-introduction, what dish we brought and also if it was the first time we cooked the dish or have done it many times before.
First to start is Jai who made an Indian fried snack, Pakora.
Happy home chefs = Happy food
Home chefs sharing some interesting experience in the kitchen.
We are so glad to have some Koreans in the house. Cara brought her mum, YoungSook Pong and made authentic bibimbap!
On the left: Gu geul pan made by Chaerin, who is going to be featured in our upcoming Cultlinary episode!
On the right: Bibimbap, egg rolls and pickles made by Korean Mama, YoungSook Pong.
Korean wave is not just happening in the music scene, it invaded our stomach with yummy food too! Seoul good~!
This Lemon Meringue pie cake looks so professionally done that you won’t believe it is made by David, who is still a student! Our up and coming talented baker!
Angeline always bake chiffon cake, but this time round she decided to create this new citrus flavour. The citrus enhanced the already fluffy texture which makes it so light on your palate, you just can’t help but eating more of it! Bengawan solo, you better watch out for Angeline!
How can we not have salad for a “Spring Vegetables” theme?!
This is not just food, it is art!
Aldric made this Broccoli Chicken Mousse in Grilled Stuffed Peppers. We love the deliberate usage of traffic colours peppers and symmetrical arrangement!
Food prepared at higher standard and quality than most restaurants!
We just can’t get enough of these.
Need us to say more? Just look at these Spring colours!
Thank you Jai for sharing this delicious pakora. Looking forward to more Indian food!
(Jokes): The first time when my friend told me “Tabbouleh”, I thought he was saying he can’t cook (sounds like tak boleh can’t do it in Malay). So perhaps he really did not have to cook it!
Our winner for today’s Best Voted Dish was by our Korean mama, Mdm YoungSook Pong. Her vegetarian bibimbap and egg roll were gone in a jiffy! Mama Young won a 3-course masterclass certificate kindly sponsored by CulinaryON. Congratulations!
