Pillsbury™ Pet-Ritz® frozen deep dish pie crust (9-inch)
Pure vanilla extract
Heat oven to 400°F/200°C. Place cookie sheet in oven to heat.
In large bowl, beat the eggs with wire whisk until light and fluffy. Beat in 3 tablespoons corn starch, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract and melted butter. Then beat in 1 cup milk.
Strain the egg mixture. Beat in 1 cup Nutella, 1 teaspoon salt, and gently stir in 2 cups of chopped pecan. Pour into crust-lined pie plate.
Bake for 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F/180°C, and cover the pie with foil to prevent excessive browning. Bake 35 to 45 minutes longer or until the custard has set. Cool for 3 hours and chill the pie in the fridge for another 4 hours or overnight.
